It seems like an obvious function that should be included. Is there a OBJ exporting script that works for Maya 2019? Or is there a way to do this using only the native Maya software?įor the life of me, I don't understand why this very basic function is not already included in Maya as part of the software. I can't seem to import the sequence into Maya to view it to see if the error might be with Element 3D. A number of folks were having problems with some Fire Pro cards and VCP has been releasing a lot of updates in a short amount of time for V2. The nCloth object is animating, but it starts falling through space as soon as the animation begins (where the Maya nucleus start point is on timeline) when viewed in Element 3D. I've tried using some OBJ Sequence exporting scripts, and so far the only one of them (by CharlesWales on Highend3d ) seems to be even functional, however, it's producing a defective file sequence somehow.

I'm not a programmer, so don't tell me I need to write a script. I'm trying to export a 3D animation from Maya 2019 (Please don't tell me I need to upgrade to a newer version, I can't) for use in Element 3D.
